Royal Rampage: Complete Game Guide
A Royal Rampage guide to decks, battles, characters, co-op, guilds, weekly seasons and KEPI prizes.
Royal Rampage Overview
Royal Rampage is a real-time card battler built around weekly seasons. Build a deck of characters, spend mana to deploy them across three lanes, complete daily and Battle Pass progression, and climb the ranked leaderboard for KEPI prizes.
The current game uses a single seasonal mode. Every new season begins on Wednesday at 12:00 UTC. Seasonal card copies and competitive progress reset so everyone rebuilds, while permanent account progress such as green gems, card rarity upgrades, KEPI and guild membership remains.
Getting Started
- Claim your starter roster. A new season gives you ten starting characters and a deck to begin with.
- Open Deck. Learn each character's mana cost, attack, health, speed, DPS and abilities.
- Play ranked battles. Each PvP match costs one energy. Deploy characters into the three lanes and defeat the opposing hero.
- Collect more copies. Daily Battles, the Battle Pass, adverts and co-op boss waves all help strengthen your seasonal roster.
- Improve rarity when needed. Green-gem rarity upgrades unlock higher character levels and remain on your account between seasons.
- Check Rankings. Complete the seasonal advert requirement and finish as high as possible before Wednesday's reset.
Build Your Deck
Your active deck can hold up to ten different characters. Select an equipped character, then select one from your collection to swap them. Early in a season the game can work with the characters currently available, but a full ten-card deck gives you the widest tactical options.
Each card shows the information that matters in battle:
- Mana cost — the amount of mana required to deploy the character.
- Level and rarity — determine how far the character has progressed.
- Attack and health — raw damage and survivability.
- Ability — a special combat effect, where applicable.
- Attack speed and DPS — how frequently the character attacks and its average damage output.
Do not build only around the highest DPS. A reliable deck mixes low-cost plays, tougher front-line units, ranged or magic damage and useful abilities.
Battles, Mana and Energy
Every battle takes place across three lanes. Your hero stands at one end and the enemy hero at the other. Drag or select an available card for a lane, spend its mana cost, and the deployed character advances and fights automatically. The battle ends when either hero is defeated.
- You begin with 10 mana, and mana regenerates during the battle.
- Your hand can contain up to seven cards, drawn from your active deck.
- Mana cost matters: cheap characters establish pressure, while expensive characters need time and planning.
- Win or lose, the mana you spend contributes to Battle Pass XP.
Energy
A ranked PvP battle costs one energy. Standard accounts regenerate one energy each hour up to 20. Premium and lifetime Premium accounts regenerate two each hour up to 40. The weekly season reset returns stored energy to 10.
Co-op uses its own daily entry allowance rather than PvP energy.
Characters, Levels and Rarity
Character copies automatically increase that character's level. The first copy unlocks level 1, five total copies reach level 2, ten reach level 3, and each additional five copies adds another level.
Rarity limits how far a character can level. When you have enough copies to exceed the current cap, spend green gems once to upgrade that character's rarity:
| Upgrade | Level range unlocked | Green-gem cost |
|---|---|---|
| Common → Uncommon | 11–20 | 150 |
| Uncommon → Rare | 21–30 | 300 |
| Rare → Epic | 31–40 | 600 |
| Epic → Legendary | 41+ | 1,200 |
Seasonal character copies reset each Wednesday, but rarity upgrades are permanent and apply again when that character is collected in later seasons. Legendary characters can continue levelling as more copies are earned.
Character Abilities
Abilities are shown beneath the character name on the Deck screen. The current combat abilities include:
- Aggressive — the character's first attack deals double damage.
- AoE — also damages enemies close to the main target.
- Armor — halves incoming physical damage from melee and ranged attackers.
- Berserk — damage rises as the character loses health.
- Heal — periodically restores health to nearby allies in the same lane.
- Impale — deals triple damage against supported ranged characters.
- Lifesteal — restores health based on damage dealt.
- Regeneration — repeatedly restores a portion of maximum health.
- Resistance — halves incoming magic damage.
- Salvation — heals your hero when the character deals damage.
- Shadowstep — can bypass a closer front-line target to reach a ranged enemy behind it.
- Spear — deals triple damage against cavalry characters.
- Storm — chains reduced damage to additional targets.
- Stun — temporarily prevents the target from acting.
Abilities are strongest when the deck supports them. Armor and healing can anchor a lane, while Shadowstep, Impale and Spear are matchup tools rather than universally stronger choices.
Ranked PvP
Ranked PvP uses an Elo-style rating system. Beating a higher-rated opponent is worth more than beating a lower-rated one, and losses are calculated from the same expected-result comparison. A win always gives at least one rating point, and rating cannot fall below the current floor.
Every ranked PvP match is fought against an AI-controlled clone of another player. There is no live PvP queue and no human-controlled opponent during the match. These clone battles count towards Daily Battles and determine your rating.
Your current rating determines your leaderboard position. Rating, wins and losses reset with the weekly season, so early results in each new season establish the next leaderboard from scratch.
Daily Battles
Daily Battles count battles played, not only wins. Rewards unlock at 5, 10, 15 and 20 battles:
- 5 battles — 5 random character copies.
- 10 battles — 5 random character copies.
- 15 battles — 10 random character copies.
- 20 battles — 2 Thor copies.
Open Daily Battles and select each unlocked reward to claim it. Premium and lifetime Premium double the quantities. Progress and claims reset daily at 12:00 UTC.
Battle Pass
All players can claim the Basic reward track. Accounts with active Premium can also claim the Premium track, which provides additional character copies and green gems.
Battle Pass XP comes from deploying characters in PvP and from completed co-op runs. The pass has 50 levels, with higher bands requiring progressively more XP. Unlocked rewards must be selected to claim them.
Battle Pass level, XP and claimed positions reset with the weekly season. Premium time is account-based and decreases daily, so an active subscription can continue across a season boundary.
Co-op Endurance
Co-op is a wave-based endurance mode. Start a solo run or invite up to two online players. Each player protects a lane, manages their own mana and deploys characters from their active deck while the team shares the objective.
- Each account has three co-op entries per day, resetting at 12:00 UTC.
- Enemy health increases from wave to wave.
- A boss appears every five waves and awards card copies from the current reward pool.
- Boss rewards rise at waves 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30, subject to the daily co-op card cap.
- An eliminated teammate can be revived after a boss wave.
- After wave 30 the team votes whether to finish the run or continue.
- Finishing a run also awards Battle Pass XP based on mana spent.
Co-op rewards coordination: balance pressure across all three lanes, call out expensive plays, and protect a weakened teammate long enough to reach the next boss.
Guilds and Guild Wars
The Guilds screen lets you search for an open guild, join when space is available, or create one with a name, short tag and crest. Creation is paid from your KEPI account balance at the price shown in game. Guilds begin with space for ten members and are designed to grow to 30 members as they level up.
Inside a guild you can see its level, XP, Guild Marks and roster, including leader, officer and member roles. Guild membership and guild progress are account features and are not cleared by the weekly card season.
Announced Guild Expansion
The following shared features have been announced for the expanding guild system and Guild Wars:
- Request and donate cards — members will be able to request character cards daily. Each guildmate can donate one card to a request. Request size grows from 5 cards at Guild Level 1 to 25 at Guild Level 5.
- Guild Marks and Shop — card donors earn Guild Marks to spend on cards and bundles in the Guild Shop.
- Weekly guild challenges — five challenges run in parallel across co-op stages, completed runs, PvP battles and adverts. Completing them earns character cards, Guild Marks and Guild XP, with more valuable weekly rewards for clearing more challenges.
- Find co-op partners — the co-op menu will show online guildmates so they can be invited directly without typing player names.
Four-Week Guild Wars
Guild Wars are planned as a four-week competition:
- Each week, members' cards add power to the guild's shared collection of all 25 characters.
- After four weeks, the 16 strongest guilds qualify for an automated knockout tournament.
- Each guild's ten strongest characters form its tournament deck.
- The round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals and final play automatically.
- The top eight guilds share the Guild War prize pool before the competition resets.
These Guild War and expanded guild features are announced additions and may not all be available in the current game build yet.
Adverts and Character Rewards
Accepted adverts award seasonal character copies and count towards weekly prize qualification:
- Audio advert — 3 random character copies.
- Video advert — 10 random character copies.
Premium and lifetime Premium double these standard advert rewards. Daily availability is controlled by the advert providers and is shown in game. If no advert is available, return later.
The current prize requirement is 20 completed audio and video adverts combined per weekly season. The Rankings screen shows your live progress. Premium can disable automatic adverts, but you should still complete the displayed qualification target if you want to be eligible for a ranked prize.
Weekly Seasons and KEPI Prizes
The leaderboard is ordered by current PvP rating. When the season ends, qualifying ranked players receive KEPI directly to their account balance. The number of paid positions, KEPI amounts and any additional rewards are live values; check Rankings rather than relying on an old prize table.
To qualify, complete at least 20 accepted adverts during that season. A high leaderboard position without the advert requirement does not receive the ranked distribution.
What Resets?
- Seasonal character-copy amounts and the seasonal deck.
- PvP rating, wins, losses and seasonal battle statistics.
- Weekly advert qualification progress.
- Battle Pass level, XP and claimed reward positions.
- Stored energy returns to 10.
What Remains?
- Green-gem balance and permanent character rarity upgrades.
- KEPI account balance and previously awarded account rewards.
- Premium or lifetime Premium entitlement.
- Guild membership and guild progress.
After the reset, the game supplies the new season's starter characters so you can rebuild immediately.
Strategy Tips
- Use your energy steadily. Letting the bar remain at its cap wastes regeneration time.
- Build a usable mana curve. Too many expensive cards can leave all three lanes undefended.
- Target matchups. Armor counters physical attackers, Resistance counters magic, and Impale or Spear punish specific character groups.
- Claim rewards promptly. Daily Battles and Battle Pass rewards are not useful until selected and added to your collection.
- Plan rarity upgrades. Spend green gems when a character has enough copies to benefit from its next level band.
- Finish qualification early. Do not leave all 20 adverts until the final hours of the season.
- In co-op, protect the weakest lane. Reaching the next boss can mean both card rewards and a teammate revival.
