Kingdom Karnage Heroes: Complete Game Guide

Learn how to build a hero team, spend Ability Points, manage HeroCoin and energy, fight ranked PvP battles, climb the Endless Tower and qualify for weekly KEPI prizes.

Kingdom Karnage Heroes Overview

Kingdom Karnage Heroes is a team-management game built around quick automated three-versus-three battles. You choose and improve your heroes; once combat starts, both teams fight automatically.

The game runs in one-week seasons. Ranked PvP position and Endless Tower progress can earn KEPI at the end of a season. KEPI is the current prize currency, while HeroCoin is the separate in-game currency used for heroes, rerolls, energy options and convenience features.

Getting Started

Choose and manage your three-hero team.
  1. Claim your seasonal team. At the beginning of a season you receive three of the four base heroes at random.
  2. Choose your PvP lineup. Equip three heroes and consider both raw power and class match-ups.
  3. Fight ranked opponents. A normal ranked attack costs one energy and awards rating plus Ability Points.
  4. Spend Ability Points. Improve the stats that best suit each hero instead of leaving earned AP unused.
  5. Complete adverts. Accepted audio and video adverts award HeroCoin and count towards the season's prize requirement.
  6. Climb the Endless Tower. Tower victories advance your stage and contribute to a separate season-end KEPI reward.

Heroes and Combat Classes

The four current base heroes are:

  • Charger — Cavalry class.
  • Hunter — Ranged class.
  • Mage — Magic class.
  • Warrior — Melee class.

You receive three different base heroes each season. Their initial total base stats are rolled between 20 and 55. Permanently unlocked heroes from the Hero Shop are also recreated for the new season with a fresh seasonal stat roll.

Class Advantage

Every hero belongs to one of five combat classes. An attack with class advantage deals double damage and is shown as a Savage hit:

  • Cavalry beats Ranged.
  • Ranged beats Magic.
  • Magic beats Melee.
  • Melee beats Spear.
  • Spear beats Cavalry.

The base roster does not currently include a Spear hero, but Spear-class heroes can appear among the permanent heroes available through the shop.

Hero Stats and Ability Points

Each hero has seven upgradeable stats:

Spend AP and review a hero's seasonal build.
  • Speed — reduces the time until the hero's next action.
  • Attack — increases normal attack damage.
  • Health — increases maximum hit points.
  • Defence — reduces incoming damage.
  • Critical — increases the chance of a double-damage critical hit.
  • Hit — helps attacks overcome enemy Dodge.
  • Dodge — increases the chance to avoid an attack.

The first increase to a stat costs one Ability Point. Repeatedly improving the same stat makes its next level progressively more expensive, so spreading AP can be more efficient than pushing one stat exclusively.

Earning Ability Points

  • On a ranked attack, every hero you own receives two AP plus one additional AP for each enemy hero your team defeats. A completed attack can therefore award up to five AP to each owned hero.
  • When your team defends, every hero you own receives one AP for each attacking hero your defence defeats, up to three AP.
  • Winning an Endless Tower stage awards three AP to every hero you own.

Ability Points, purchased stat increases and seasonal hero instances reset when the season rolls over.

Hero Abilities and Rerolls

Each newly created seasonal hero receives one of three abilities:

  • Enrage — increases damage in proportion to the percentage of health the hero has lost.
  • Poison — after a Poison hit, the affected hero loses 10% of maximum health before each action.
  • Regen — restores 10% of maximum health before the hero acts, without exceeding maximum health.

The hero screen provides several one-HeroCoin adjustments:

  • Reroll a base hero's combat identity to another base hero type.
  • Reroll the hero's ability to one of the other two abilities.
  • Reroll base stats while retaining stat progress already earned that season.
  • Reset purchased stat increases and recover the AP spent on them.

Review the confirmation screen before spending HeroCoin, especially late in a season when the resulting seasonal stats will soon reset.

HeroCoin and the Hero Shop

HeroCoin is the game's spendable utility currency. It is distinct from KEPI and is awarded by successfully completed, server-accepted adverts:

  • An accepted audio advert awards one HeroCoin.
  • An accepted video advert awards five HeroCoin.

Daily advert availability is controlled by the live provider limits. If an advert is unavailable or the daily limit has been reached, return later. Wait for the game to confirm the reward before beginning another advert.

HeroCoin can be spent on hero and stat rerolls, AP resets, opponent rerolls, instant battles, energy purchases, Endless Tower attempts and permanent Hero Shop unlocks.

Permanent Hero Unlocks

The shop presents four heroes selected from the live shop pool. Buying one permanently unlocks that hero for your account. Its seasonal battle instance and stats still reset, but the ownership unlock carries into future seasons.

Shop selection and HeroCoin prices are live game data, so check the current shop rather than relying on an old price list.

Energy

A normal ranked PvP attack consumes one energy. Each season starts with 10 stored energy, and the default capacity is 20. One energy is restored every hour until storage reaches its capacity.

The energy screen offers several HeroCoin purchases:

  • Buy one energy, with a cost that rises as more single-energy purchases are made that day.
  • Buy ten energy when at least ten spaces are available.
  • Buy seasonal 2× or 3× regeneration boosts.
  • Increase capacity by ten. Capacity upgrades are permanent and can raise the cap from 20 to a maximum of 50.

Single-energy and ten-energy purchase counters reset daily.

Regeneration boosts reset with the season, while purchased capacity remains on the account.

Ranked PvP

Ranked battles are automated after you select an opponent. Your rating cannot fall below zero, and the leaderboard orders players by their current rating.

ResultRating change
Attacking victory with one hero surviving+4
Attacking victory with two heroes surviving+7
Attacking victory with all three heroes surviving+10

Defending victory+4
Defending defeat−1

A normal attack costs one energy. The instant-fight option also costs one HeroCoin, and rerolling the offered opponent costs one HeroCoin. These convenience options do not replace the energy requirement for a ranked attack.

Your final rating determines your PvP leaderboard position, but prize payment also requires completion of the season's advert target.

The Endless Tower

The Endless Tower is a separate progression challenge. It does not consume ranked-battle energy:

Each Tower victory advances your current stage.
  • A normal Tower attempt costs one HeroCoin.
  • A fast Tower attempt costs two HeroCoin and skips the battle playback.
  • A victory advances your Tower stage and awards three AP to every hero you own.
  • Tower rankings are ordered by highest stage, then by the recorded completion time when stages are equal.

At season end, qualifying Tower players receive KEPI based on the stage reached and the live per-stage reward. The base reward is adjusted from the current KEPI market value, so the in-game figure is authoritative.

Weekly Seasons and KEPI Prizes

Kingdom Karnage Heroes runs in one-week seasons. Use the in-game countdown for the exact deadline because the server controls the current end time.

Prize Qualification

You must complete 20 accepted audio or video adverts during the season to qualify for a ranked PvP prize or an Endless Tower KEPI payment. The Rankings screen shows your current progress. Rating or Tower progress alone is not enough if the advert requirement is incomplete.

The number of paid PvP positions, total pool and individual KEPI awards are live values. High PvP ranks can also receive Dragon Essence. Treat the current Rankings screen as authoritative instead of using a reward table from an older season.

What Resets?

At the start of a new season, the following reset:

  • Seasonal hero instances, including rolled stats and abilities.
  • Ability Points and purchased stat increases.
  • Equipped teams.
  • PvP rating and power.
  • Opponent state.
  • Endless Tower progress.
  • Weekly advert progress.
  • Seasonal energy boosts.
  • Stored energy, which returns to 10.

The following remain on your account:

  • Permanent Hero Shop ownership.
  • Purchased energy capacity.
  • Your HeroCoin balance.

Permanently owned heroes become available again as new seasonal instances with fresh rolls.

Useful Strategy

  • Plan around class advantage. A lower-power hero can still be valuable when a Savage hit doubles its damage.
  • Spend AP regularly. Unspent AP does not improve combat performance, and early upgrades can earn more victories over the week.
  • Keep energy below its cap. Hourly regeneration is lost while storage is full.
  • Value clean wins. Keeping two or three heroes alive produces substantially more attacking rating than surviving with one.
  • Build advert progress steadily. Do not leave all 20 qualifying adverts until the final hours, when provider inventory may be limited.
  • Balance PvP and Tower spending. HeroCoin used on rerolls or fast battles cannot also be used for permanent heroes or Tower attempts.
  • Check the countdown before seasonal spending. Most combat progression resets when the season ends.
